I am a big Will Ferrel fan so there will be several of his movies on this list. I had not heard much about this movie when it was in the theaters but my kids had and encouraged me to buy the DVD. I'm glad I heeded their advice as this movie ranks high on my list of favorite movies. So much to like about this film and so many times you'll laugh out loud too.

I grew up in the 1970's so the sound track to this film brought back some nice memories. This is another Will Ferrel movie that made me laugh out loud on my first and many subsequent viewings. The scene around the poker table with a loaded or is it unloaded gun goes down as a classic.

Yet another movie of Ferrel's set in the 1970's. This movie has so many quotable lines that I could list them in a seperate list and still miss many gems. After waiting for many years the much anticipated sequel is available so we can catch up with the further adventures of Ron Burgundy and his gang.

Votes: 410,889 | Gross: $110.52M

Despite some of the controversy surrounding this film it is a laugh out loud movie with some great action to boot. Tom Cruise is suprisingly funny and way out of character in this film and his performance is worth the price of admission alone.

Votes: 56,672 | Gross: $124.03M

Being a western fan who lives in Texas I tend to look for movies set in the west and even though this movie is not set in the old west it does have a western theme. There are several laugh out loud moments including the stampede, the City Slickers riding lessons and the 1 liners that Crystal says throughout the movie.

Votes: 186,203 | Gross: $71.32M

The only other movie in the series that I still watch frequently, the others, European Vacation and Vegas Vacation, are funny but they don't hold a candle to the original Vacation movie and this film. Several laugh out loud moments in this case mostly delivered by cousin Eddie.

Votes: 52,185 | Gross: $50.61M

Chevy Chase plays a newspaper reporter who uncovers a crime that includes the police chief. Many laugh out loud moments provided by Chase in his heyday. Sadly they made a sequel that although it did have some funny moments doesn't hold up when compared to this one.

Votes: 381,086 | Gross: $119.94M

The second big Jim Carrey film from 1994, along with Dumb & Dumber, this movie gives Carrey the center stage and he delivers. There are several laugh out loud moments and Carrey appears to get in touch with his alter ego who is, apparently, a Warner Brothers Cartoon character from the 1940's.
